    The team at Hawksworth Restaurant consistently amaze us by their inspired food and wine programs. We can’t resist popping in when we are in the city, even for a quick glass of wine, to catch up with Wine Director Bryant Mao and team – often getting great tips on what can’t miss wines have entered the market.. and where to find them! 

    Naturally we felt honoured to be asked to pair up with the Hawksworth team for a culinary evening this summer. Perhaps a little more formal than a drink and snack at the bar, but a four-course meal prepared by the incredibly talented, Chef de Cuisine Antonio Sotomayor is no doubt going to be irresistible.

    Join our winemaker David Paterson and Proprietor Eric Savics on July 24th for an intimate dinner in the restaurant’s York Room - rumour has it David will be bringing our 2016 Reserve Pinot Noir (of which only 100 cases were made) to share, along with something special from our winery library for dessert.

    SIP, SWIRL AND DISCOVER THE NUANCES OF BC'S TOP PINOT NOIRS THIS SUMMER AT THE 5TH BC PINOT NOIR CELEBRATION. 

    The 2019 BC Pinot Noir Celebration brings together BC's top 35 Pinot Noir producers for an unforgettable festival-style tasting experience. The event kicks off with a sparkling reception and keynote address by Madeline Puckette, certified sommelier and author of New York Times Bestseller, Wine Folly: The Essential Guide to Wine. 

    A courtyard tasting salon complements exquisite culinary creations prepared by local Chefs from Joy RoadWaterfront Café and CateringFrankie We Salute YouOld Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate WineryVice & Virtue Brewing CoStart Fresh Catering and Vancouver’s Wildebeest followed by a cocktail-style dinner.     Held at UBC's Okanagan Campus in Kelowna, BC on August 17th, 2019. This is a full day event with optional breakout sessions held in the morning.
